Benedict offers a fantastic range of wines that he both curates and explains brilliantly. It's especially worth checking out the selection that he has personally important with great finds from Burgundy as well as some interesting bottles from less well known regions in Luxembourg.

Having attended multiple wine tasting/events over the last few years (zoom tasting, private tasting and oysters tastings), we always loved Bens professionalism and approach! His wines are delicious and it is obvious that he selects them with care and passion. Bens enthusiasm is clear from the get go and makes the experience pleasant and interesting. Cannot recommend more! Separately he also offers monthly subscription which enables you to discover new wines! A very passionate person!

Scam artist - I met Benedict through a classic car website to rent the Triumph you see on his website for my Dads 70th birthday. He seemed like a really nice chap at the time and we messaged on WhatsApp to arrange a time for me to rent his car for the weekend. He was great to communicate with and offered a fantastic deal which I was super grateful for, but I should have questioned why he was willing to drop it from 1200 to just 400, something didnt seem right. Upon picking up the car, I quickly learned it was a death trap. Whilst away for the weekend, the exhaust fell off, throttle cable snapped amongst so many other issues (MOT expired in 2018, not a legal requirement for this car but when renting out to others.4 years expired is questionable). I spent around 4-5 hours of my day beside the road either waiting for RAC or fixing the car myself. I managed to get back to London expecting Benedict would offer some form of compensation (understandably things are quirky with an old car but constant breakdowns youd expect the owner to pick up some of the bill for repairing). His response was old cars break down all the time, its part of the experience. He offered me 30 refund to make things right.then he blocked me on WhatsApp and didnt give me a penny. Not even anything towards the cost of fixing his car. Hes taken my 400 and run. Stay away from this guy, nice to begin with but clearly desperate for cash and willing to do anything to take it.

Great little wine shop, and more !....with some genuinely unique & interesting wines. Benedict is friendly, generous & very knowledgeable.
