I booked Mamas to celebrate my bday. There is a deposit and a minimum spending based on number of people but its so worth it. We had a reserved area with a corner of the bar just for us including a dedicated member of the staff which has been absolutely amazing. Drinks and food have been liked by all my guests and I had an fantastic night! Also I was able to bring my dog along

Overall a very nice property in a great location the rooms are very well designed and the bed was. Super comfy. I did find the bathrooms a bit small and the water pressure in the shower was not great. I found too that while the noise insulation to the outside was good, into the corridor it was almost non existent. I could hear every passing conversation (my room was near the lift so there were quite alot) and door being closed. The other thing that I really didn't like (and this could just be a cultural difference given in Australia smoking and where you can or cannot smoke is heavily regulated) was that the area right outside the entrance to the hotel was the smoking area for the bar/restaurant downstairs. Every time I came in and out you had to walk through multiple smokers. Unfortunately as well one day of my stay the property was completely without water for 12 hours or so due to council works. This is obviously out of their control and they did advise us the day before but it would have been nice to have had some extra bottled water placed in the room or something for brushing teeth etc.
