We had a really bad experience with Sash and Tamsin. They had their own vision for our property which wasnt researched thoroughly and they would not collaborate with us, instead we were bullied by them. They spent our money in very wasteful ways and we ended up with some really terrible design.

We have been working with Sash, Tamsin and team for around 18 months as part of the team on a large project that is currently being installed. With multiple moving parts and many stakeholders it's been critically important to have a strong architecture team managing the design process, pulling the many threads of artistic input and engineering requirement together into one cohesive whole. THISS have managed that tricky task with both skill and a smile throughout, even when our engineering needs were making their lives pretty difficult. It's been an absolute pleasure and we hope to work with them again on many future projects.

Having engaged with almost a dozens Architects in our search to do a roof extension, Tamsin and Sash really stand out from the crowd. 1. They're consultative: They really listen to your situation and adapt recommendations and support to the realities for your finances, your personal taste and your family situation. 2. They're clear and responsive (and that;s really not a given!!!). You will have a gantt chart, budget clarity, email responses within minutes, direct answers (no stream of consciousness). It makes you feel in the safest pair of hands. 3. Project manager. They are able to really act as the focal point between suppliers, builders, local councils, lawyers, etc. Which is crucial for works like this: it can easily become a nightmare! 4. They're just plain nice. They;re fun, they're young, they're driven, they;re smart which turns a potentially draining situation into something fun and exciting. I'd recommend them every day of the week.

Sash and Tamsin did a wonderful job at creating the house we wanted with the means we had. The guys answered our brief perfectly, took us on a smooth journey, and lead the project with a team of builders till completion. We thought their partnership was very complementary, where structural architecture is greatly combined with interior design. We had a specific idea of what we wanted but THSS took it a step further and made the perfect home for us with great additions. If we were to do another project we would love to have them on board again.
