Didn't have moss for my terrarium when I last visited. First visit to Plant cafe today. The house plants are amazing, such high quality. A joy to see. The cafe was a little disappointing - does not reflect the high standards elsewhere at the centre. We wanted something to eat for lunch. We passed the cakes which looked lovely to look for something yummy. The offering looked like pappy white bread wrapped in cling film. There was a vegan choice - good to see. Seeing the offering of toasties, we thought this would be a more appetising option. A choice of white, wholemeal and sourdough bread was given. That sounded hopeful. To our disappointment, the sandwiches for toasting were selected from the cling filmed wrapped items we had seen earlier. We ate the toasties when they arrived because we were hungry but they were very disappointing. The bread was thin and the fillings meagre. The presentation was very basic. I wouldn't order them again. We felt they were over priced and low quality. You can do a lot better than this. Perhaps it is just teethig problems. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a better sandwich/toastie with garnish/salad/chips/crisps. Coffee was good and we ordered 2nd cups. Staff were friendly. Setting was lovely.

Plant lovers look no further! For really friendly advice, excellent plants of ALL varieties, a tempting caf and...a very nice (homeware) shop, Knight's Betchworth is a pleasure to visit. Thank you.
