Myself and five friends stayed in the Maple Lodge at the beginning of August. Two of which used the king size split bed within one of the rooms (most places dont have this option, so this was a bonus). The views where simply outstanding and the lodge is certainly the most luxurious we have ever seen. Although there where three other lodges close by it couldn't have been more private where the hot tub is located. We where fortunate that the weather was hot during our stay, but due to this it made the temperature inside the lodge unbearable one day, so if you are going in the summer I'd advise to take a fan. The lodge was spotless and came equipped with most kitchen utencils however we did have to shop for things like hand soap, cleaning cloths and kitchen sponges. The kitchen had so much storage which was absolutely perfect for our large party. The beds where very comfortable although they did creak quite a bit due to them being metal based. Goosedale is only a 10 minute drive from local shops. The lodge also comes with a information book which suggests local activities and things to do during your stay, this also answers most questions. Molly who works at Goosedale was very welcoming and professional. She answered questions promptly throughout our stay. Check in and check out are both contactless. On our first day it did take some time for the hot tub to reach temperature due to this being refilled prior to us checking in, but we understand this is something that can not be avoided. Overall this lodge and location was simply fantastic! We will most certainly be planning our next break away here! Thank you very much to Molly and the staff at Goosedale for making our break away amazing!!
