        Over 2 hrs waiting for ambulance for 91 year old. Not ambulance service fault too much demand for overstretched service. Paramedics polite and helpful, very frustrating situation though.

        I had a serious work accident which involved a tromatic head injury also a broken back on the 31/08/2010. I would like to say a huge thank you. If possible i would like to meet the paramedics who treated me and took me to the hospital, I later got told after being in a coma for a month that i had 10 minutes to live. If it wasn't for the the response and help from the paramedics who helped me i wouldn't be here.

        You really have to be a special kind of person to be in the emergency service and even more so now. So a huge thank you, to you all and especially to the 2 paramedics who help a friend of mine who suffers with mental health problems and needed hospital treatment.
