Dockside Gallery

A couple of local artists run this shop/gallery. Very friendly. It's well worth a visit if you are in town. Located away from the main town centre, but within walking distance across the bridge over the river.

Visited when on holiday, what a lovely gallery. The diversity and quality of work and artist was amazing. We went past/ in the shop every day of our holidays as quirkiness of the merchandise made you feel like you were looking at something new each time. An fabulous shop with an own who clearly has excellent taste.

As a currently exhibiting artist I am impressed and heartened with Mary's enthusiasm and sensitivity towards her artists. She takes a genuine interest which means she is able to reliably inform her customers.

Recently contacted Dockside Gallery to ask about stock of a specific artist. Within the hour I had pictures of items and more could be provided to show further detail. The service was personalised, quick and just superb really pleased. The item was a gift so they were able to hold back on postage for a week to allow it to arrive on a specific date, complete with a hand written note that I got a preview of. Mary has the most beautiful handwriting. Even if you can't visit in person you can definitely get some great items and service too!
