Beautiful and quiet place! extremely view, plenty of space for a walk in the forest. No amusement no drink bar no shouting kids which is very good! But the lodges need refurbishment and better cleaning I understand this is pets friendly site but the sofa and chair are full of stains and dog hairs under the bed are not very nice Yes we have dogs but this need improved. Oven sorry but this needs deep cleaning and the same with the fridge and vacuum with full dog hairs! The dampness in the bedroom ceiling needs to be removed. If you adverting wifi access make this wifi work 90% time not work! Easier will be to connect every cabin by Lan. Overall very good place.

Where do I start? Do not book this location - beautiful as it is, the views and quietness cannot make up for the filthiness of the cabin. I am not talking about superficial dirt but true grime. I wasn't even sure if the bed linen was clean. We paid over 800 for a week's holiday and I was grateful to leave as it was so disgusting. My husband works in the NHS on the front line and this was supposed to be a break away from that - but how can you rest surrounded by dirt. A thick layer of dust everywhere including dust hanging from the lampshades, corners of the ceilings. Filthy skirting boards and unclean floors. My standards might be high, but they are not over the top. I just recognise when cleaning has not occurred. And of course, I attempted to make sure things were sanitised before the start of our holiday as well as at the end. Bathroom: toilet not clean, shower head completely broken and apart from the shower hose. Mirror dirty, and no blinds in the bathroom or in any bathroom of neighbouring cabins - so you could watch people go to the toilet - absolutely digusting!!!!! Shower basin was filthy - this is a soft water area so this wasn't hard to move limescale it was black gunk that simply had not been washed away. In the kitchen, the large utensils were dirty and there wasn't even a vegetable parring knife available. I will never book another holiday at this location ever again. Alongside the filth, the wireless did not work until Wednesday - when the manager decided to come to the cabins and reset it. Where was he on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday? No wonder so many cabins were empty. And finally, you are told to check in at 5pm and check out at 9am so that additional covid secure cleaning can take place - this is an utter joke. NO CLEANING HAD OCCURRED - so really no reason to suggest the need for extra time. However, be assured that we did clean the property and sanitise it before leaving the property early owing to the poor level of cleanliness.
