I would advise avoiding at all costs. Firstly the owner of the company is disrespectful, not understanding and rude. I have rented two properties with KT Residential to which they were/are an unsatisfactory standard. To begin with upon arrival at both properties they consisted of broken furniture, one cupboard hanging off the wall. Two wardrobes with the backs falling off and nails sticking out of it, along with sofas with no front legs, broken garden furniture, broken chests of draws, dirty stained mattresses, the list could go on. Upon approaching KT to fix these issues, which took a lot of back and fourth emails, they told me that because I have complained I have a high standard and I do not pay a high price that I can expect a high standard from. (completely out of order any property should be to a satisfactory standard even for students). Another issue that occurred is on three occasions the same toilet has leaked through the ceiling, and through a light fitting (potential hazard) this was fixed all three times by a handyman not a professional plumber or even assessed by one. The property is filled with mould too, to which I provided a doctors letter explaining the unsafe nature to myself and unborn child however KT and Daniel Dow in particular overlooked and told me this is not a feasible request because they will lose money along with a lot of other not very nice remarks and comments. Daniel is discriminatory towards myself as I have complained numerous times, there is no support, understanding or help the main and only concern the company have is getting money unfortunately. The other staff are also rude and obnoxious. I would highly recommend avoiding. After reading all the reviews on here. It appears it is quite common with KT and their poor and rude nature. Disgusting company In response to the owners comments, I dont think supplying 6 students with numerous items of broken furniture and stained mattresses is classed as a high standard we pay an extortionate price considering the state of the property however Daniel Dow always has an answer to everything which is normally to blame the client, there has been many individual complaints from all tenants at the property however ignored. Im sure they will all leave their individual reviews upon moving out. Daniels nature is threatening and intimidating, as you can see by the response given. I would attach photos of the broken furniture, leaking toilet, and dirty mattresses in each property however I am unable to on here.
