Alex at Fine & Country was a joy to deal with throughout our whole buying process. It was a long and complicated chain and there were several tense moments but she kept everything moving and went above and beyond to keep us informed and make sure everything went through in time. She was always friendly, positive, honest, and incredibly proactive - she made a very stressful time much more manageable for us. We have had less than positive experiences with estate agents in the past but we certainly were able to rebuild the trust during our experience with Fine and Country and in particular, with Alex.

Fine and Country Berkhamsted Selling a house is really hard everything seems to be against you. Choosing your estate agent is the first tough decision. I interviewed so many estate agents many of whom undervalued the house for what reasons I will never understand. Chris gave me a value higher than most, not all and achieved that price 11 months later. Yes, we dropped the price to help the bottom of the chain to keep it; yes, we lost two buyers through broken chains; yes, members of the family told me to accept a lower price but Chris and his team relentlessly kept chasing potential buyers and finally we completed at virtually the original price. Chris kept me constantly informed whatever was going on and rang me weekly even if there had been no progress. I felt we had chosen an estate agent I could trust, a rare commodity truly appreciated.
