Nice en relaxing site with wonderfull statics around. Very close to the beachsite as well and a caf down the bottom with explandid service of foods. Food & drinks: Good pubfood.

Good location for peace and quiet. Private access to neat beach. Not a pedestrian friendly place. No footpaths outside, so walking anywhere is risky. Small shop inside the park - you won't starve but don't expect variety. Patchy WiFi. Walkability: Not at all walkable. No footpaths. If u can get by car to hiking trails, there are good ones.

Sandhills is a quiet caravan site overlooking the beach and offers beautiful views of the coast line and sea. We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom caravans for the week and thought it was great value for money - the caravan was clean, modern, and had more than enough space for us (family of 4). Other than a small shop with bare essentials, and a small launderette there isn't much else to do on the site itself, which isn't a big issue as there is a lot to do in the surrounding area, and being the Isle of Wight you won't need travel more than an hour to get anywhere else on the island. It would, however, have been perfect if the site had a children's play park on site, and even better if there were a swimming pool, and cafe, but with the quiet, low-key atmosphere of the site this may take the park in a different direction. We would certainly be happy to revisit and stay at Sandhills again in the future, and will be recommending to friends and family.
