I didn't come for a service but what a welcoming and inviting space. We were given the choice of a variety of hot drinks, and the atmosphere was special, no pews but comfortable chairs and lighting and colour all around. There's a couple of leather sofas too. I'd love to return. But there is very little parking, so it was suggested to park elsewhere and walk back to the church.

Belton All Saints is one of 3 Round Towered Churches within 2 miles of each other. Bradwell is more established and Burgh Castle is a smaller church nearer the River Yare Estuary. All Saints is on the edge of the village with an extensive churchyard. There is very little greenery here, and it wasn't just the drought conditions. There is a wonderful oak tree at the east end which was just showing new acorns when I visited. Sadly there were a lot of graves for very young children, which gave me pause for thought of their parents' grief and lives cut short all too soon.
