Almost 10 for a bit of basil and some pine nuts. They can't be serious.

Pomona has dropped off a cliff over the past 12 months. Customer service and the quality of some of the goods, and selection, has dropped considerably. I used to shop there for 15 years. The owner is rude and insulting, unless you're buying a lot of food. The new tall young guy looks miserable in his work (If a polite and nice guy). They let 3-4 staff go, all women, over the pandemic. All male operation now. How about instead of insulting long term customers that don't buy as much due to cost of living crisis, try treating everyone extra nice, offer loyalty deals (Like the health food shop up the road), and create of a positive community atmosphere? They used to play music in the shop - that is long gone. That said, I hope they survive for the good people that work there, and for the locals. But attitude-wise, and regarding customer appreciation, the owner seems to be taking out his frustrations on long term customers that don't spend much right now, or who didn't shop during the pandemic, and how can't afford their prices due to cost of living crisis. I'm done. I'll be going to Earth in Kentish Town from now on. More selection, and everyone treated the same. Pomona should take note.
