I contacted Liz for coaching at the end of 2020, having realised I needed some help to make time for myself. As a and Mum of two I'd lost track of making time for me and really of who I was. This resulted in anxiety and being close to burn out. My negative thoughts and general worry was affecting all areas of my life although I sought help for a specific work related goal. Sessions with Liz have been a game changer, and I do not use that expression often as it's never usually accurate. By practicing the tools taught to me by Liz in fortnightly coaching calls face to face online I have been able to gain an understanding into the importance of self care, of my own unhelpful and helpful thought processes and how to achieve a much better balance in life and work. I've retired superwoman and replaced her with much better ways of being that give me strength and power without sacrificing my own needs and value. Most importantly I feel completely different. Gone is the pervasive anxious feeling, the need for perfection, worry about getting things wrong and disappointing my colleagues and just feeling a bit lost. I feel much more balanced, in control and present in life again and am much less critical of myself. I've certainly learnt that medical school, early years on the wards and motherhood was the perfect combination of learning how to put myself last. I cannot recommend this personal work highly enough. I have signed up for a further 6 months of coaching with Liz and cannot wait to see and feel the development to come. If you are wondering whether life coaching with Liz would be good for you, try an initial call to see how you get on, I knew after that call back in November that the results of coaching could be amazing, and they have far exceeded my expectations.
