Calici Restaurant

I used to love this place. When it first opened the food was amazing and the atmosphere was super nice. Service was also very good. It has downgraded BIG time. Went there quite a few times but the last one a few days back, prices are super high and dishes have very little food. Service was low quality, our order was forgotten, the wine list was lost (in a restaurant were wine is all). It is quite disappointing to see how the place has changed. I sadly dont think Ill come back (not for food for sure). Menu has also diverged too much, making every order take long and no specialty at all.

Our first time in this restaurant. Elegant but relaxed ambience. The wine is the central fixture throughout the bar and the restaurant area. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The prices are adequate for the quality of food we received.

Not the best experience. The venue and decor is lovely and the staff are friendly, but this was my gripe. The menu itself wasn't as full as the menu on the website. We were a party of 6 and had planned and discussed what we might have in advance. Most of what we wanted wasn't on the menu. The excuse was that the menu changed last week. This was the same excuse 6 months earlier. We said then we wouldn't come back, but the kids wanted to, so I decided to give them another chance. The food itself was nice, however what wasn't mentioned was that we would need sides with some dishes. I ordered the tuna steak. It would have been good to know that I should have ordered some mash or chips with it. I did order some grilled mixed vegetables, second choice as the broccoli wasn't available. This arrived after I had finished my tuna and it also came cold. There were one or two issues with some of the other dinners, but I don't have the energy to write anymore. We just won't be going back. And for what we got, it was pretty overpriced.
