        Took my 4 year old son and new baby in a sling. Lovely helpful reception staff kindly suggested we use the bookshop seating when I needed to feed the baby. Staff in the cafe were also very friendly and were good enough to let us stay after closing time while they were tidying up while we finished feeding. We were made to feel very welcome and told not to rush - this is SO much appreciated! The gardens are beautiful and the castle is a superb place for kids to run about. We can't wait for the new play area to be ready! Thanks very much for a lovely afternoon out, Belsay Hall!
