        Tower cottage was located around very impressive surroundings & was beautiful. The owners were friendly & very welcoming. They allowed us to roam around Bitchfield Hall & the gardens freely which we absolutely loved. So many variety of beautiful flowers surrounded the accomodation. We also had access to the tennis court which we took full advantage off. The accomodation was ideally located to visit lots of tourist sites. Lindisfarne was 1 hr 20 mins, Alnwick Gdns 1hr 10mins, The Sill at Hadrian's Wall 40mins, Northumberlandia 40 mins, Blyth Beach 50 mins... The kitchen, bedrooms, & living room were beautiful & very homely. The negatives were, the bedrooms had not been vacuumed properly on the day we arrived & there was hair found everywhere. There were no cleaning items in the house like a handbrush/ shovel or a hoover for cleaning up. The lake was no or suitable for trout fishing but looked very picturesque. Despite the negatives, we would thoroughly recommend others to stay at this location.
