Ellie was an incredible mortgage broker in the middle of the pandemic when times were already really stressful. She always picked up the phone, all emails were answered were responded to immediately. Shes a genuinely lovely person and very good at her job. I was reluctant to leave my previous advisor but he couldnt help with a smaller mortgage apparently so we were really appreciative of Ellie. I really couldnt fault her service and loved how communicable she was, just like a friend reassuring you at the end of the phone every step of the way! She took all of our needs into consideration, from being above a shop to wanting to rent out down the line she made sure our mortgage covered everything we needed. Thanks Ellie x

I was recommended Ellie via a colleague and she has not disappointed. Having a relatively straightforward financial situation, we thought borrowing more from our current lender to move house wasnt going to be much of a problem. However, due to a variety of reasons, they were initially resistant but this reluctance seemed only to spur Ellie on more. She submitted vital information to them, provided updates to me every day via differing communication methods and badgered the lender incessantly, fighting our corner like a real trooper. Eventually, they agreed to lend us the necessary money required and Im absolutely certain this wouldnt have happened for us if it wasnt for her expert persistence and professional, methodical approach. It was looking like we had lost our dream home and we were beginning to give up hope until one morning I received a telephone call from Ellie Salter. I can honestly say she was our knight in shining armour and has made all our dreams come true. I have never met anyone that is as helpful and friendly as Ellie. No query was too big or too small for her she would ring of an evening, over the weekend and even on her day off. She has been absolutely amazing from gaining our decision in principle to us being offered a mortgage. Ellie is not only our mortgage advisor but has become a true friend. I can't recommend Ellie and Sala Finance more highly. We were first time buyers, my husband had a default on his account and I was on furlough due to the pandemic. We tried every Mortagage broker we could find and they were all unable to get us a mortgage, luckily we found Ellie. She did all she could and was able to find us a great rate from a high street lender within a day! She was a joy to deal with and gave us regular updates as the market changed - couldn't ask for more!

I can only recommend Sala Finance, I used them to get our first mortgage, and as a director, it can be a complete minefield, Ellie did everything for us, from start to finish, which didnt take very long at all! And we ended up paying less than any high street led service could offer. An absolute pleasers to deal with, weve recently used the to remortgage, and again, completely effortless and super swift.
