Pointless, utterly pointless. What is the point in having a job centre that you CANNOT directly contact for information. Information varies from district to district and what applies here may not apply somewhere else. Also, if you need to ask a complicated question that may only take a minute for them to answer, you have to call a number which is part of a call centre that has nothing to do with the Belper job centre and if you want to talk to someone at the Belper job centre you have to be transferred by the call centre, which is not cheap to call and you could also be waiting 15 to 20 minutes depending on how busy they are....that is if you don't get cut off. They work as though still in the stone age. Utterly stupid and I along with hundreds of people I know would give them a score in the minuses if possible. Utterly terrible and the most miserable staff known to man. No wonder Belper job centre is referred to as the "Joke shop".
