        My mums walking stick had broken and I popped in to see if they knew somewhere that could fix it. The lovely man who works there fixed it for me. Both he and the lady who run the shop are lovely folk and the shop is a treasure trove of supplies and surprises.

        My bycycle pedal had come loose 30 miles from home so I called into the store in the hope that I could purchase a flat spanner to fix. The lady serving was so helpful and opened up a pack of spanners to allow me to choose the correct one, use it to fix the pedal, then was happy for me to return it. I was so grateful for the help and the fantastic service. Thank you.
