Digby Stone

Charred oak paving description is very misleading. Description online says calibrated. Which I thought meant each stone is true to size. Builder struggling to lay them. Cant lay without uneven gaps. Some are too faulty and no gaps so butt jointed. Contacted digby who said brochure says uncalibrated. But these are on the calibrated stone page. So very misleading. The salesman at a local suppliers told me they were calibrated. They are really badly cut sizes. Quite a few which are now laid will need breaking out because we cant grout the patio. No leaflet or brochure inside the paving crate. My builder wants to grout finish job but I am really unhappy with these paving stone irregular sizes. They arent true square or oblong shapes. The colour is a very faded grey. No where near dark enough for the name charred oak. Absolute waste of thousands of pounds for these slabs and builder costs. For a poor quality product that is unfit for purpose with misleading descriptions on supplier sites. If Id have had known they were uncalibrated with such poor size manufacturing I would have returned then for a refund.

The tiles I ordered were ready and waiting for me when I arrived to pick them up and were willingly and carefully loaded into my car. Everyone was helpful, friendly and efficient. Very impressed.

Be careful!!....our slabs were supposed to be SABBIA (the colour of red/brown sand) but this is what we ended up with. The colours on the website and in the brochure are nothing like the actual thing. Despite contacting the suppliers and Digby Stone they will not even come out to look at them. We are so disappointed.

An OK place to deliver. They seem to have an awful lot of stock. Should be easy to satisfy the fussiest customer

Fantastic company to deal with really helpful and excellent comms. Slabs looked fantastic and not a single piece of damage. Would recommend to anyone. I would give 6 stars if i could!!!
