2 stars for the food, however Sarah the waitress gave excellent service. Ordered 2 meals...1 meal had to go back because it had items missing and contained onions which we asked to not have. Came out again the eggs were undercooked...literally like slop on the plate. Sarah sorted this for us.. waited 10 mins and another meal was brought out...the steak was not cooked medium well more medium but eggs were fine. We came here to eat together but unfortunately this didn't happen.

Visited today at lunchtime had the gammon choice of egg or pineapple chose to have on a skillet gammon came on top of fried onions I also chose to pay 2 extra for a 4oz steak served with chips & peas half fried tomato the gammon was beautiful as was the steak it was on the 2 for 11.99 meals daughter had the same will definitely be going again soon service was good didn't have to wait long but was starting to get busy at 1 staff were lovely

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pub is generally clean. Unfortunately there's ONE BIG ISSUE, the toilets, are not fit for use. Especially the toilets on the food side of the pub. Ever time someone went in there was a bad smell of sewege coming into the restaurant area. I went in and had to come out, not just the smell but inside, VERY messy, wet floors. Generally bad order. The pud has gone down hill over the last 12 months. Whoever owns the place.... I suggest you get them sorted. I don't think environment health would be impressed.
