Blue Barn

We recently stayed here on a Mon to Fri break and was impressed as soon as we pulled up on the drive. A converted barn done to the highest standard with 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets. Superbly set out with the finest oak furniture with plenty of room to relax and chill out in. Very spacious all round, lovely manicured garden, front and back with outdoor seating to the front and table and chairs to the rear. Parking to the front for at least 2 cars and a garage at the top end of the garden. The views are spectacular at the front and the rear is in a well kept courtyard with other cottages in attendance. It's approximately 1-5 miles down a winding country road just off the main A1 road with twists and turns along the way. Beautiful countryside and surrounding area, would definitely stay here again as its real home from home. Unfortunately we go home tomorrow. On entering the property on the first day the owners had put a 2 pinta of milk in the fridge and a lovely sticky toffee cake as a welcoming gesture, very nice too. We really have enjoyed our stay, well worth it.
