Gourdans Events Catering

We had an amazing evening at Gourdans. The menu is incredible- it was genuinely impossible for us to choose so we went for the very friendly and welcoming staffs recommendations which were perfect. They had great knowledge, beautiful ingredients and the atmosphere was really lovely. The chef cooked the cote de beef beautifully- there was a lovely smokey charring on the outside and then perfect pink juicy steak on the inside-heavenly! The sauces (including amazing chicken butter) the side of a pull of raclette and the cheese and charcuterie were also completely delicious. We will be back again very soon but this time with friends!

Can't recommend them enough, salsa Verde and peppercorn sauce is a winner winner steaky dinner!! 5 stars from me

Well what an experience, this place is amazing, funky decor with a converted Renault van for the bar area. To start we shared the Charcuterie board which was more than enough for 2 adults and a 10 year old. We all had a Grande Sirloin Steak which was cooked perfectly with a selection of sources as we couldn't decide, we can't wait to come back and try the Cte de Boeuf (as that was sold out when we visited). My 10 year old gave it the thumbs up so we'll be definitely coming back. The French wine was pretty good too considering my preference is NZ. Wish I'd taken pictures!

Ive been a fan of Gourdans for many years so was delighted to hear they were opening up a restaurant and it did not disappoint!! The place had a great atmosphere. After a long time deciding (I could have happily picked everything on the menu!) I opted for the radishes with anchoiade as a starter and the Cote de Beouf for main. Also could not resist a side of the scrummy smoked potatoes. Amazing flavours and cooked to perfection. I chose the house red to accompany the steak which was delicious. Thanks for such a lovely evening. I will defo be returning.

Friendly wait staff, however steak was a disappointment and cooked poorly. Told by staff the chef wasn't happy but if the steak was cooked properly then we wouldn't have sent it back. The steak was even worse on its return. Not for me. *edit* in response to comments left by the restaurant - feedback was given at the time, we wanted to remain polite and left by saying it wasn't for us. The meat wasn't left with a "blush" of pink, it was practically raw (after being sent back, cooked more and returned) in many places leaving it a long way away from how it should have been.
