Rollen Cottage

This is a beautiful cottage!!! I would highly recommend. It is in a lovely part of the country. The cottage was absolutely spotless and a credit to Carol. Everything was to a high standard and the beds were extremely comfortable. As we took my elderly mum, the separate ensuite shower room in the 2nd bedroom was a great bonus. The master bedroom has a balcony with table and chairs and the most amazing views and although it was cold we did use it, we just got wrapped up. You had everything and more in the kitchen. We cooked most nights and it was so easy. Carol's communication and directions/information were faultless and made everything so easy for us. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for a great time, we needed it.

Hard to fault this beautifully appointed cottage located in a picturesque and quiet corner of the south Lakes. The accommodation is roomy, comfortable, spotlessly clean with modern appliances throughout. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat and top quality accommodation, look no further. Big thanks to Carol for being such a lovely host.

We returned for a week this month (our "second home") with 3 of our grandchildren for 3 days. Carol & Bruce are very welcoming and shared some home grown veg. and plants with us. The cottage is very comfortable with all you need for a self-catering stay. The location is peaceful and relaxing. The kids loved the freedom of the garden and the country walks (including the "Fairy Steps") right from the front door. We will be back - if Carol & Bruce will have us!

Thank you to Carole and Bruce for a fabulous week in this perfect cottage. The cleanest and best equipped cottage we've ever stayed in. We loved the fresh flowers and all the extras that were provided. Even in the middle of Covid we felt very safe, as Carole had thought of everything. We had a perfect week of relaxation, walks and reading.
