I booked this venue for a wedding reception on Dec 3rd and was assured that they would not put up Christmas decorations until after the wedding, as it was clearly booked as a Wedding reception and NOT a Christmas party. I was horrified, on driving past 6 days before, to see full Christmas grotto including a particularly gawdy artificial tree! This is a very small venue, chosen for its intimacy for a small gathering of family and friends but it was filled to the gills with Christmas tatt! I might have been able to tolerate a real tree with discreet twinkling lights but red tinsel was a step too far. The ONLY plus was I spotted it before my wedding day and while upset, we were able to pull off an alternative venue in 5 days. But if it had been down to the venue, I would have been none the wiser until the day. Dont trust them with your plans!

We had a 30th there in January The staff were very welcoming and helpful.The bar is very well stocked. Look forward to having many more events there.
