What a joke.. waited nearly an hour and half and still didn't get the food. We had the table at 6.15 we waited till 8pm and decided to leave. No apologies no notning so paid for drinks and walked out. Other people complained about the food not being cooked and sent it back. It wasn't even that busy. Asked the waitress how long it would be she said she will check and never came back.

We decided to leave after almost an hour and a half of waiting in vain for our food to arrive. A lot of other customers also sent food back that was burnt to a crisp and others also left without being served. Totally ruined my birthday. The place was also freezing cold with a draft blowing down the stairs and we had to keep our coats on. Drinks orders also took forever to arrive. The second Singapore Sling we had was just a glass of fruit juice with no alcoholic content whatsoever! When the Manager went to check on our food order he never returned. My wife had also paid a 10 deposit to reserve my lobster tail which was not refunded to us! I wanted to award them no stars at all but could only post this review if I selected one.

Genuinely shocked at how bad our experience was last night. Table was booked well in advance and menu selections had been pre agreed plus deposits paid. quality of cocktails were so so. Not awful but certainly nothing to praise, I'd be very interested to know how much alcohol is used as the general consensus around the table was, god these are pretty weak. Now for the food. This is where things get interesting. So, the starters came out, well all bar one which came out about 15 minutes later. Ok the quality here was "alright". When the mains arrived, things went from "alright" to "full on embarrassing". We started with one of the lobster tails ending up on the floor before the plate had even hit the table. Accidents happen. We were told that they had no more lobster so this couldn't be replaced. As i and some of the others around the table cut in to our steaks, we found they were extremely cold. Two were also undercooked and one was over cooked and extremely fatty. The meals were taken away along with the tails and chips. 10 minutes later we were again presented with cold steaks minus the chips and tails. We were told they would swap the tails for a tiger prawn. I think about 15 minutes later 1 portion of chips showed up. Never saw these tiger prawns. No idea what happened there. As this was all going on, it became obvious that the other tables in the restaurant were having similar issues. Lots of plates going back, angry faces, people leaving before eating. Basically an absolute shambles. The gentleman who greeted us when we arrived pulled a disappearing act and the remaining staff seemed to be in sheer panic mode. Needless to say we left before dessert, some of us still very hungry and some telling me they ate the food out of politeness as I had arranged the evening. The "manager" agreed to discount our bill which I reluctantly accepted so as not to cause a scene and she kept reiterating that "we brought the food out to you" and not really listening to the complaints and issues we had. Im genuinely in shock about how a restaurant can think this is acceptable. Something clearly went wrong big time. Obviously won't be back and wold advise people to steer clear. I'd imagine everyone who visited last night would share the same thought. On the upside, the place across the road served us a few portions of chips which arrived in good time and were lovely and hot
