4 years ago I gave a shocking review as did many others. The pub has been transformed in recent times and it's now a great place to eat. As others have said the staff are a little inexperienced but that seems to be the norm no matter where you go these days.

Had a lovely Mothers Day lunch this Saturday lunch time. Food was lovely, I had a beef stew and it was delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Lovely decor. Really enjoyed it!

Poor. Poor beer and wine selection, poor service, could be an absolute gem of a place. Terrible toilets with no soap and a hand drier that sounds like a jet engine is being tested in the bar. Very disappointing.
