        I paid a visit to Bedfordshire Archives because of my interest in family history, there is plenty of information in the online catalogue where documents can be ordered in advance, the staff are very helpful and are always on hand to give advice.

        What a great experience! I was able to use their easy search engine to find three different wills my ancestors had made, from the 15 and 1600s. I emailed the staff requesting some help and within three days I had crystal clear photocopies of these documents. It was surreal to see those signatures. I am looking forward to making a trip across the pond next summer and hope to see the actual documents. From start to finish the whole process was a breeze and the staff was incredibly helpful. Thanks so much!
