        We where there to play Pool in the league and had a great night even though we lost, a friendly atmosphere with a lovely landlady and friendly locals.

        It is always a right good laugh in here, the atmosphere is always welcoming and lively, to the point that you can usually strike up a conversation with strangers within about ten minutes of arrival. Rose is a lovely landlady, full of cheerful Irish charm. All drinks are reasonably priced for the area, and their selection of live music and other assorted pub entertainment is brilliant. It's also quite popular for watching live football and rugby at the weekend, and they sure know how to throw a party for St Patrick's Day! Hopefully we'll see you all again soon, Smiths Arms!
