Kimbolton Lodge

My mother had the most unfortunate luck of being transferred here for rehab care. On one occasion we met her at the hospital for an appointment, she had travelled and was still in her night dress no socks or shoes or coat and frozen. Not the best way of caring for an elderly resident with dementia. We had to fight to get her out of this home, we couldnt bare to see our mother treated so poorly. Please do your research before placing your love ones there.

My mother spent over 2 years in the care of Kimbolton Lodge and the staff and facilities are excellent. The staff are caring and professional and I wish to thank them all for the respect and kindness shown to my mother during her stay with them. They did for my mother what her own family was unable to do and for that I thank them sincerely.

Great staff, great food and a lovely garden. Rooms are nice and roomy with their own TV. The home is part residential and part rehab. I have really enjoyed my stay here. Nothing it too much trouble.

My father in law has several complex physical conditions and memory loss. He's been at KL for one year. They have looked after him very well, encouraged him to participate with other residents, not just be confined to bed, and been very kind to the family, when there have been issues. From my experience, I can only recommend the team and facility.

My Mum was in Kimbolton Lodge for 4 weeks, for end of life care. The staff were very kind and accommodating to us, and treated my mum with kindness and dignity throughout her time there. We cannot thank them enough
