If someone you know has just been admitted to Manton Heights ABI Unit for rehabilitation please rest assured they are in very safe hands. My mum was transferred here 3 months ago after suffering a life threatening stroke leaving her with extremely limited movement and speech. Since then the rehab team have put her through a regular routine of cognitive therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and physio therapy which has seen her go from strength to strength. Everyone in the team are amazing and really know their stuff. They have kept us informed of mums progress every step of the way. The carers are fantastic too, so considerate and attentive even when mum has been at her most challenging! You might not believe this, but even the food is great. The chefs really make an effort to get to know each and every patient to ensure their needs are met (a big shout out to Vern for the fruit salads ;-) The facility itself is very well equipped. Every patient has their own bedroom with a television, shower and en-suite facilities. Theres a central gym containing all sorts of specialist equipment, and a circular corridor around the outside to practice walking. Mum is being discharged this week after regaining 100% of her speech, 100% of her cognitive awareness, and 85% of her movement, so I really am over the moon. A big thank you to all the team for looking after mum so brilliantly, you really have been amazing!!

A Huge thank you to all the staff at Manton Heights ABI. The care my grandmother has received here has been 2nd to none, nothing has been too much trouble and the support offed not just to her but to us as the family as well. As a family we can't thank you enough, Tina, Lisa, Owen, Joseph, Jay and if any left off apologies. wonderful support through a difficult time.
