Ouse Valley Car Sales

Well 8 months in to my ownership of a 2006 XC70 purchased from Ouse Valley and I must say that they were incredibly honest about the car, its history, and what may need attention in the future. They took a 2013 Gold GTD (in admittedly not so great condition) as a willing trade and gave me a reasonable trade in price against the much more practical Volvo. The dog absolutely loves the additional space with the Volvo and so far it hasn't put a foot wrong. The local independent Volvo specialist was surprised as to how good a nick the mechanical condition was in! Easy to deal with and very patient with my many questions, which was crucial for me in trading down to an older car.

We bought a car from these guys. Having always bought from main dealers, I have to say I was dubious at first. I couldn't have been more wrong. We read the reviews, made a call and then a visit. We got a good vibe and we bought a 2016 Volvo V40. Sahar wasn't pushy, was able to talk about the cars history with confidence and then show us all the corresponding paperwork and evidence. Probably for the first time, we actually enjoyed buying a car. We agreed a collection day that meant Zahar needed to change some of his personal commitments to meet our needs, and he didn't hesitate. He even picked me up from the train station. After the delivery we had a minor issue with the car - and this perhaps the most important thing - there was no hesitation - Zahar wanted to sort it for us, no ifs no buts. He wanted everything right and squared off and was true to his word, no hassle. Everything done at our convenience. This is a truly professional business. These guys know the history of their cars, they are very careful in what stock they buy in and they look after their customers. We are hugely happy and they will be our first go to for our next car whenever that is. If you've seen a car but you're unsure, give them a visit - you won't be disappointed.
