I'm not the only one here sharing negative review about the service here at Florence Ball House, I'm an unpaid carer looking after a family member with a mental illness and has no insight into his illness, and the most recent doctor was cold and dismissive. I logged a formal complaint.

Trust the reviews, I would also put 0 stars if I could. My experience with this service is appalling. When I was first starting with this service they threatened to send the police to my house because I hadnt answered a call from them. I hadnt answered this call because I was at work when they called me and it came from an unknown number. I understand why they might do this if they were worried for someones safety but theyd only called me once or twice and never left a voicemail. Then when I had an appointment I wasnt listened to. The doctor spoke over me and manipulated my answers. My symptoms were minimised and ignored. I have been struggling for roughly half my life and decided I might have something else going on that hadnt been diagnosed yet. I suggested this, was immediately dismissed and told it wouldnt be that. I have since had this disorder diagnosed through another service. Every phone call or appointment with this service just seems to be checking boxes and manipulating you into saying what they want to hear, or simply ignoring how you actually feel. When I told someone that I was dismissed and told I didnt have something else going on, they insinuated that I was lying as that wouldnt happen. The last doctor I saw had no empathy whatsoever. When I mentioned I had overdosed, the doctor said yes, but only once as if to suggest that trying to end my life once isnt actually serious. I take a low dose of a medication and I specifically take that low dose due to lots of unwanted side effects from taking a higher dose. A doctor has repeatedly suggested that I take a higher dose even though they know I cant due to the side effects. I was wrongly discharged from the service when I was really struggling and they just decided I was doing better. Honestly, even though I was still struggling I was just relieved to be away from this awful service. However they kept contacting me and made another appointment, claiming I hadnt been discharged. I have now been officially discharged, thankfully, as Ive previously said even if Im struggling Id rather not use this service due to how awful they are. Overall, they have no empathy, I left appointments feeling gaslit and manipulated and like I wasnt cared about at all. Dont use this service. They are truly awful.

Annoyed angry flipping no help at all, mild depression Wth.. Self harm isn't slightly low mood or issues with others.. No help on meds they gave me what I guessed was quanrpine which is as much use as a chocolate fireguard.. No help with form sa I have seen them.. Total dam joke and weller wing was alot of help compared.. I tore up the prescription because its no use it never really worked I was the same on it as without.. No help with sleep didn't even get anything which was told prescription to help on sleeping and medication.. WTH
