I can't praise Simon, Stacy and the team highly enough! From the start of the sale process through to completion, I received expert advice and regular updates. Even when there was a 'hiccup' in the process (due to the buyer), Simon anticipated the need to put the property back on the market and it was sold within days! Will definitely recommend Goodacres to anyone looking to buy or rent a property.

Poor company with poor communication! The award for lack of accountability and poor maintenance goes to Goodacres Residential. Im not one to do this, but unless youre a buyer or a landlord this place doesnt take you seriously. Took 10 days to get hot water in the flat. Now its 10 weeks without a functioning washing and freezer that doesnt have a temperature gauge. Ive been dismissed and told that an appliance which were clearly broken were working. Contractor they used left a disgusting voicemail on my phone- but claim that they vet their contractors 2 days back to back contractor hasnt shown up/tried to show up while Im on schedule meeting They take zero accountability for anything thats gone wrong itll always someone elses fault Update; raised the issue in September it wasnt resolved until end of December!

Spent over 30 each travelling from London to Bedford (on a strike day!) just to have the viewing cancelled after arriving in Bedford - AND we only found out the viewing was cancelled because WE called them to ask to view another property on the same day, otherwise we would've probably just waited for no one at the end of the day because they totally "forgot" that we even had a viewing booked, "it's not on the calendar, Myah must've forgotten it" is a what they told us. A complete sense of disregard for the customer, unorganized and lack of professionalism. (Edit for their response: the point is no one called us to let us know the viewing had been cancelled, we only found out hours prior to the supposed viewing because WE called. Then to hear they couldn't even find a booking for us at all was just disgraceful - they did not say they couldn't see Myah's calendar, they told us we were NOT on the calendar for viewings that day. Secondly, you should perhaps check with the tenants at least 24 hours in advance and inform us if a viewing is no longer available. Thirdly, not everyone lives around the corner just to re-book viewings last minute as you please, as we said we paid 30 each to go from London to Bedford for nothing.)
