My mum was a customer at Prem Jewellers for many many years. She was a mother of 5, a mother in law to 5 and a grand parent to 5. All of our wedding jewellery and that for her grandchildren was purchased from this store. During this last year 2021 she wanted to treat herself for once and pawned in what little scraps of gold she had left to buy herself a ring. Everything else she owned had either been given to us or pawned already. Unfortunately the ring didnt work out for her. As soon as she put the ring on she had a series of illness and believed like many Indians the stone was unlucky for her. She had worn it about 3 days maximum. She called Prem jewellers to discuss this with them and also discussed returning it. Sadly my mum passed away in October and is no longer here to ask what was agreed but it was her dying wish for this ring to go back and be removed from her house. I tried to fulfil her wish by returning the ring. It cost 2600 and I was offered less than half the price 1100. I am not naive to think I would get a full refund but this was just an insult. I didnt accept the offer and tried to sell this ring in Hatton Garden and was told the certificate we were given was worth nothing and neither was the ring. I am URGING you to never buy stones from this store that have not been checked for treatments! They are worth NOTHING. I went back to Prems 2-3 weeks later and after countless phone calls and text messages they went back on their word and offered only 1000 apparently the value had gone down a further 100. I suspect this ring will be buffed and back on the shelf for its original asking price as it was barely worn. Please see attached photo and wording right at the bottom DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR by Prems No compassion, goodwill or ethics were shown at this difficult time years of loyalty counted for nothing. They are only interested in lining their own pockets!! Im sorry mum I did my very best. RIP Additional comment 17.2.23. Its also a sign of very bad customer service when the negative reviews are never responded to.

Lovely spot. regular customer treated with lot of respect. i can vouch for these jewellers! Always given out discounts and variable jewellery designs to choose from! Best in Bedford.
