Had 3 major hypertensive crisis BP was 230/158, apparently this is not an emergancy! Bloods taken was discharged with in a few hours of being admited. This happened 3 times, the last hypertensive crisis resutled in me fiting and I collalsed and yet again was discharged within 3 hrs!! Quick ecg was done and chucked out. Totally disgracefull, worst A&E ive ever attended, its not busy as most people chose Luton & Lister hospital as Bedford is so bad.

I unfortunately had an accident and had to visit Bedford A&E department on a Friday afternoon. I was expecting long waits and it to be super busy. I was in and out within a reasonable time and all 5 members of staff (signing in x2, triage nurse, x-ray and final Dr/Nurse) I encountered were kind, polite, sympathic and helpful. Thank you Bedford A&E department.

All staff at a&e last night early hrs this morning 10th-11th March 2023, were as efficient, friendly, patient, kind, considerate as possible.. firstly, paramedics Ryan & Jack were great, i do like a sense of humour too, i did not want to go to hospital, yeah who does, good job though, not certain if we had reached bed.hos.or nearly, but, Rylan asked me was i feely very dizzy, *no, no more than before nor usual, apprently, by this point, should have collapsed, BP was that low Ooops! Again, had that symptom many times, not just down to ED euther.. so they laid me down on ambulance bed, and it rose somewhat.. I was there cos GP at surgery was uncertain if i had been experiencing many tiny TIA, i had only mentioned the Hemiplegic Migraines and its symptoms when passing when she made telcall yesterday afternoon..to discuss the many other degees of increased sysmptoms in already diagnosed conditions.. Medical staff at Bedford Hospital A & E did thorough tests heart, EEG Blood Tests, numerous BP, Diabetis testing.. Finally a CT scan we showed no change however they were *concerned* i had not seen a nuerologist for quite some time.. There were more umm..police and *people of interest* there at one time than patients.. I arrived home at 4.30am.. Thank you all.
