        Harry tried to charge me 1500 for a head gasket repair , when the fault was actually a thermostat.Also couldn't articulate the actual cost of parts and labour as he claimed he had thrown the piece of paper away. Be careful with this garage.

        I had my MOT completed at Coventry Road Garage centre on my VW Tiguan 2019. I was told my rear brakes were low, which was strange, as the car had recently been serviced and nothing had been reported. I took my car to a VW dealer Alan Day Volkswagen and was informed the brake pad still had 50% life and should not have been reported on as low. They also have MOT Testers I presented this fact to Mr Singh at Coventry Road Garage MOT centre, but he dismissed the VW dealer Alan Day Volkswagen Hampstead health report and would not remove the unjustified marks. This was a clear attempt to cheat the customer to completed work which was not require, very unprofessional. I have reported this to DVSA to have the unjustified advisor removed. Buyer Beware!!!
