Norma & myself would like to thank everyone at Shires Sandy Beds for the excellent service we received. We were looked after in such a personal and professional manner and such care was given to all our needs. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day of the funeral John looked after us with such sensitivity and warmth. We would also like to say thank you to Gwyn the celebrant for the wonderful service given and eulogy of Mike's life.

Myself and my family would like to thank Angela for arranging my partner Valerie and my Baby Marys funeral, I honestly can't thank her enough for what she done for us. If I could give more than 5 stars believe me I would! I had enquired elsewhere prior to visiting Shires (didnt like or couldnt meet what we wanted) but the minute I walked in and was greeted by Angela and the atmosphere at shires I knew Id found the right place. Angela and the team were fantastic in helping me arrange my dads cremation. Sat with us and went through every detail from coffin to gown etc..They are all so lovely and empathetic, didnt rush us and took the time to listen to us talk about my dad and what he wanted and we wanted. They treated my dad with care and made home look beautiful for his final journey.. They kept me informed every step of the way from the minute they took my dad into their care, sorting out invoices, letting us know when he was in their chapel of rest so we could say our goodbyes to calling me on the day of his cremation to let me know all went ok. There is not a single bad word I could say about Angela, the team or Shires they have been absolutely amazing and made sure my dad had the send off he wanted. Im forever grateful for the respect and care they have not just my dad but us too!! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the future.. without a doubt!!!!! X

Shires Funeral Directors took care of my brother in law Tilak for the funeral. Funeral Arranger Angela was amazing, she was compassionate and very professional and everything my family asked her to do was adhered to. I would also like to mention John the Funeral Director how professional and caring he was with myself and my family and also would like to say a massive thank you to the bearers for the professional service that was given. Myself and my family will most definitely recommend Shires in the future.

Angela and Bim at Goldington Road, Bedford branch. I really couldn't of asked for more. They took care of my Grandads funeral and my Nans funeral. Top service and really understanding of my situation and really appreciate the help from them both. If I could give more than five stars believe me I would have.
