Adding to the previous review. We would like to express our thanks as a family for the kindness you shared with us whilst orchestrating my brothers funeral. We felt involved and very much a part of the occasion on the day. All of your staff were wonderful, empathetic and compassionate. Thank you for making a sad day into one of comfort and warmth.

Clarabut and Plumbe were amazing into helping me organise my dads funeral, Id like to thank Suzanne, Amanda, Simon and Michael and the rest of the team for taking great care with my dad. The funeral was just how we as a family wanted it. Dad had many many friends and each one of them said how lovely it was. The team are compassionate and were always on hand if I needed anything altering and were amazing with arranging chapel visits. I would highly recommend C&P to anyone. Me and the family cant thank you enough and we will always be grateful for what you did in a very dark time.

The entire team were unbelievably accommodating, and very professional. Thanks to everyone involved, we were able to give my father a lovely send-off. The team were also extremely knowledgeable, and very experienced, and were able to accommodate our every need, and we were also able to adhere to our religious and cultural practices. We are extremely grateful, and cannot recommend them enough.

Sarah and Ramona and all the Bedford team who dealt with my mum or was just around the building so she wasnt physically alone Made me feel at peace the team dealt with my dad 6 months ago my mum who didnt know she was unwell until the last 3 days in hospital I asked what her wishes would be she said a unattended cremation as she didnt want us to morn or be upset she was adamant that the Bedford team she wanted to look after her and her wishes were fulfilled and Sarah was so compassionate in everything . everyone reacts differently to grief and she didnt make me feel any less because I wasnt crying etc and that made me feel human as you dont know how your going to act or feel while organizing a funeral my young girls and partner came it was a very Cosy friendly environment it wasnt daunting one bit which for me is the passion that the company created due to the staff at Bedford created for themselves so yes if I could give 100 stars for compassion sincerity I would . Thank you again for Sarah and the team for looking after mum and making it as easy and comfortable as possible.

When my father died recently we were fortunate that he had already made provision for his funeral with a pre-paid Funeral Plan purchased via Age UK many years ago, that was provided by Dignity Funeral Directors. The contact details for our local Dignity Funeral Company (Clarabut & Plumbe) were already on the plan documents so we knew immediately who to call. Their 24 hour helpline treated our call with great sensitivity and efficiency. They came to collect my fathers body within a couple of hours and were very discreet and respectful, which was greatly appreciated in the circumstances. Suzanne at their office was excellent and available to meet us within a couple of days. She carefully led us through the funeral planning process clearly explaining all of the options available and helping us to understand the formalities that we needed to complete. The funeral was extremely well organised (thanks to Simon, our Funeral Director on the day), and the care and concern shown in particular to my mother at this difficult time was very much appreciated. Based upon our experience, we would highly recommend Clarabut & Plumbe.
