Be careful when parking, as only the bay furthest from the town centre is for EV charging; the adjacent bay is for taxis, so be careful to avoid a possible ticket. This is just as well anyway as the post is a combined 7kW/13A charger rather than the newer dual 7kW ones.
The location is near to one of the main entrances for a public school and parents often park in both the EV & taxi bay when waiting to pick up their children. As with other charging spots in town, parking here is currently free for 3 hours whilst charging, but check the signs as this may change in future.
