PodPoint Charging Station

Must say very disappointed with Tesco. They are now charging to use these once free to use pod points are now pay for use EV chargers. I'm sure Tesco can afford to subsidise a couple of charging stations!!!!!

Podpoint chargers are located on the far side of the car park, near the 'Click and Collect' point. Note that due to the cap park one way markings you must either currently turn down the lane before the chargers or the lane with the Click & Collect point to get to either side of the chargers. The four chargers can be busy during peak times & have seem 3 of the 4 charge points being used even during covid restrictions. The chargers are currently free (due to sponsorship?) but you must confirm your charge on the Podpoint mobile app after starting to charge, otherwise the charge will end after a few minutes. Very useful service & during a large shop I can typically charge more than was used during the journey.

Worked fine. All 4 points were in use. Waited a few mins and one became available. Free to use, activate with the PodPoint app within 15mins or charging will stop. Close to click and collect, towards the back of the car park. Parking limited to 3 hours.
