Blimey this place has gone down hill in the last six months, went at Christmas was great so don't know what's happened. Food great as always but service appaling. We had booked a table but had to wait ten minutes for some reason even though it was fairly quiet. Had to ask for plates to eat off, had to ask five times for a jug of water, very slow, had to ask for our table to be cleared, our waiter seemed new but nobody seemed to want to help even though they could see we were unhappy, no birthday song for eight year old even though we paid for this service, birthday boy nearly asleep pudding took so long to come think they'd forgot. Mananger didnt seem bothred when we complained. The bill came out quickly without asking of course. Sorry akbars you have just lost some loyal customers of 15 years. Birthday celebration ruined. What a shame we loved this place.
