During my recent visit to Tesco in Bedford at 36 Midland Rd, Bedford MK40 1PS, I experienced some unpleasantness with one of your employees. While attempting to purchase a product, I was informed by the employee that the barcode was missing and I was asked to retrieve the product myself. I expressed my concern about this and explained that it was not my responsibility to fetch the product without the barcode, but rather the employee's duty to assist me with the transaction. The employee responded in a manner that I found to be impolite, stating that it was not her responsibility either, as she did not require the product, but I did. I kindly reminded her that she represents the company and it is her duty to assist me with my transaction. Following this incident, I spoke with the manager who was very gracious and apologized on behalf of the employee. However, the employee herself was not willing to apologize to me and instead demanded that I apologize to her. During this uncomfortable situation, a kind lady from the queue intervened and confirmed that I was not being rude and that the employee was indeed being impolite. Regrettably, due to the unpleasant experience, I forgot to scan my club card which resulted in me paying more. Furthermore, I cannot locate my receipt, and as my routine was disrupted during this experience, I cannot recall whether I printed it or not. Overall, this experience was very disappointing and left me feeling dissatisfied with the service provided at Tesco. I hope that steps can be taken to ensure that such situations do not arise in the future and that all customers receive courteous and professional service from your employees.

During my recent visit to Tesco in Bedford at 36 Midland Rd, Bedford MK40 1PS, I experienced some unpleasantness with one of your employees.
