She was totally convinced that I need a "professional" translation of my marriage certificate ( it was a professional marriage certificate with translation at the back with a stamp and signature on it). She was keeping my new passport in her hands with my new surname still thinking it's not enough to update my details. They wasted my time and wanted waste my money too.
I gone to different branch of the same bank next day and they have been able to update my details. Why? What's the difference?
I tell you why, as you can read on HSBC website if you have valid document with your new name you can still update your details.
I will never go there again. I don't recommend this bank.
