Service department / after sales is AWFUL. They cancelled my booking the night before the booking, I rebooked for a month later, received text confirmation with the correct date on it. Turned up on the day it was booked in as per the text confirmation, only to be told it wasnt booked in till two days later? They did at least take the vehicle in to do the Haldex oil change as per booking. I was called at 15.00 to ask that I return the loan vehicle at 17.30 and collect my van, I had been told they would need my van for at least two days to check for a water ingress issue. I was working till 19.30 so there was no way I could return the loan van till the following morning at 07.00, which they were happy with. However I was very confused when about half an hour later, someone else called to say my van wouldnt be ready at 17.30 because they didnt have the oil in stock to do the job. Quite how it got done for 07.00 the following morning is somewhat bemusing. To top off the rip off shoddy experience, I was billed 20 for the loan vehicle. Again they did waive this as they couldnt find the paperwork to show me where this charge is laid out. Nothing like customer service.. Now Im out of warranty and the service plan is finished, Ill be off elsewhere. Wouldnt recommend the after sales here in any shape or form. Something I think the other two customers who were in at the same time as me would back up, as they were both at their wits end dealing with this company. Drive a bit further afield and give your hard earned cash to a company that cares about its customers.

VW Cornwallis Heathrow showed a shocking lack of professionalism whilst attempting to fix a small technical issue on my new California Ocean. Over the course of 8 days, Philip from the service department made, on three separate occasions, promises to call with information/updates. He didnt! I had to constantly chase him and in response he repeated the age-old platitudes about got distracted, was busy and were short staffed. Where clarity and transparency was required, Philip was vague and obtuse. I tried elevating the issue to The Managing Director, Mr Robert Zubo who not surprisingly didnt respond. I wont use Cordwallis again and would definitely not recommend them to anyone else. On picking up the vehicle, the Service Manager, Mike Parvess, was gracious and showed concern. Unfortunately, the damage was already done.

Avoid if you can. Terrible service. Van went in under warranty with faulty power closing tailgate. They had the van for 8 days and then told me that there was nothing wrong and it didn't even have a power close feature (and wanted to charge me for the privilege). After 5 mins on google I found the reset procedure and now my power closing tail gate works fine.
