Couldnt recommend House of Hair enough, they are all so lovely, friendly and polite. Always listen to what style you wish to go for and make sure they fully understand and that you are happy with the result. I am always so happy with how my hair looks and the care that is taken, its also such a friendly environment, Carly does my hair in the salon and I couldnt fault her talent, she is amazing If anyone is looking for a salon then definitely go there! Visited this salon for the 1st time back in September as my hairdresser had a baby and is no longer salon based great experience 1st time what I wanted was listened too and achieved and I walked away very happy and due to my experience I then rebooked in January to have the same service again however slightly different I requested a 3/4 head when entering the salon all seemed to be as was on my 1st visit however this really wasnt the case Firstly - I requested a 3/4 head and this was not listened to I was actually given a 1/2 head and to be quite honest my hair took the stylist 30 minutes to apply a 1/2 head this is record time Secondly - the stylist never checked her work during the processing process an assistant was asked to do so and then within 20 minutes the colour was being washed off never in my life of having my hair done nor whilst I was hairdressing myself which was for a number of years have I seen anyone manage to do so and the fact that once the colour had been washed off the stylist never even checked her own work because if she had Im sure she would have even questioned her work and asked if I was happy which I was not. safe to say my hairs as dark as it was at the root as before and my hairs supposed to be done and refreshed no way were enough fouls applied and I can only assume that this was because the stylist had back to back appointments so was rushing however this is not professional and not acceptable (its called time management) Finally - I was charged 60 first time second visit 80 I appreciate that they have increased theres prices for the 1st time in 3 years so was happy however the increase was actually 35%. I messaged the salon on the evening of leaving after having my hair done as I was trying to get my head around the service this time however this message was actually read and ignored I then messaged again 2 weeks later and asked for someone to call re my message before I left a review this happened however when talking to the stylist she was very dismissive and denied everything I was saying the excuses just couldnt be justified when you increase prices and start charging for services you never charged for before you should be notifying the clients before providing the service. The stylist then offered to apply a few more foils to the front of my hair however I have a child and childcare just doesnt come easy for me hence booking my appointment weeks in advance to the day so if I had accepted the front would have not matched the rest due to me having to book well in advance and to be quite honest I wouldnt feel comfortable visiting again nor would I trust the service I would receive. Happy to provide photos should they be needed to back up this review personally I dont recommend house of hair and would recommend you look elsewhere for your hair services as this salon has proved to be very unprofessional when dealing with genuine complaints this review could have been avoided if the stylist had accepted what I had stated which was all facts instead of trying to talk her way out of it.
