        One of Southern Cranes drivers nearly caused a multiple pile up last night near Horsham. I was a few cars back approaching the Great Daux roundabout about 6pm, when one of their massive crane vehicles plowed straight onto the roundabout coming from Crawley without stopping when turning left. Only the late breaking of the driver on the roundabout in his path prevented a horrible accident. He just assumed that everyone else would just get out of his way. Not a great advert for the business, and if they employ such mavericks to drive their cranes, I hope they have a more stringent process in employing and training the people who maintain them.
