Lovely home with caring staff who treat people in the individual way we would all like to be treated. A relative has been here for 2 years and I have seen this home go from strength to strength in that time, despite pressures in the social and healthcare domain. The medical team are responsive and reviews from the named GP are sound. Thank you to Jess and team!

My brother Robert Smith went into Ashley Lodge for end of life care. I can't speak highly enough about the high standard and level of care that my brother received. The friendly staff were so caring and treated my brother with absolute respect, compassion and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely staff, lovely chef and lovely Home Manager Jess. Thank You for looking after my brother so well you took a big weight off of my shoulders knowing he had this fantastic care.

I visited with my partner. The staff were all very precessional, kind and caring during our visit. I hadnt appreciated how much effort it is for them to prepare for visitors, but they made the process as seamless as possible and were very happy to see us. Our Covid tests were checked on arrival (by showing the date on the NHS email wed received that morning). Our temperatures were checked. We were then given a big plastic box each that had a disposable mask, gloves and apron in for us to put on before we entered. Once we were in the reception a member of the team picked up 2 chairs for us that had a label with clean written on them. He then took us to see our relative and laid the chairs out for us to use. Our relative says he is really happy there. The room and everything else we saw is maintained to a high standard and the other members of the team we spoke to (eg the lady who brought round the afternoon coffee and cake for our relative) was also very kind and professional. Thank you.
