At first glance the large cod portion was generous as were the large chips. The chips were just about OK, relatively dry , not especially hot though. The fish had a horrible soggy batter tasting of flour, that we had to remove . I was shocked to discover the fish fillets were not fresh but frozen. In my opinion, why would you do that? when all other outlets in Hampshire and Dorset that I have tried ( bar one other) use fresh fish. The mushy peas were (ok).
I felt uncomfortable after the meal. I will not return. Sadly, a 1- star review. The only upside: one of the servers was especially helpful and engaging. Also, a little expensive.
